Tara Becker - Consultant

Tara a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a parent and a resident of East Dallas. Prior to working as a therapist, Tara worked with women leaving the prison system, refugee families, and as an educational consultant for teachers through Momentous Institute. In the summer of 2023, she began working as a therapist joining the team at The Haven Wellness Center, a group practice focused on trauma healing with expertise in EMDR & intimate partner violence. In the fall of 2026, Tara opened her own practice,Tara Marie Therapy. Tara believes in a mind-body approach to healing and is EMDRIA Certified. Tara also believes therapy is best with a cup of coffee or tea and loves partnering with her friends at Wellness for Educators.
