Wellness for Educators
A program of Consult4Ed Group, Wellness for Educators offers a variety of offerings based on the expressed needs of those with whom we work. Our clients include schools and districts, educator professional organizations, conferences, nonprofits, universities and college, and companies. As we work together to design your program, we are always open to creative ideas, so feel free to be in touch if you have other ideas in mind. Our team is very creative and agile, and we love the innovative process of co-designing experiences with those we work with.
Our work is led by an amazing team of educators, licensed mental health professionals, and certified mind-body coaches and facilitators working together to support whole-school, research-based, trauma- and equity-informed mind-body education, practices, and strategies for mental, physical, social, and emotional health and wellbeing. We provide whole-system and choose-your-own-adventure approaches, bolstering schools, districts, and community-focused organizations to cultivate safety, connection, belonging, and resilience for all stakeholders, including educators, students, and family/caregivers.
The Research
Based on research from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning, the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) models, and our own team, we created S.W.I.M. — the School-/District-/System-wide Wellness Implementation Model. Our research-based, trauma- and equity-informed offerings are intentionally aligned so that every stakeholder not only gets the support they need to bolster themselves but also understands their collaborative role in supporting the community at large. The rationale for our approach is informed by somatic psychology and the importance of mind-body or somatic integration to support a safe, community-centric, supportive learning space. Within the model, there is space to co-create the sessions and topic covered based on the needs of your community.
We offer all of the same programming from S.W.I.M. as stand-alone options that you can mix and match to create your own programming to meet the needs of your school/district and its stakeholders. Below is a list of all of the current programming available.
